Suppliers
When ordering concrete and aggregates, we remind customers of the additional costs for waiting time imposed by our suppliers. All suppliers verify a time for discharge, after which waiting time is charged by the minute (copies of terms and conditions are available on request). Charges are also incurred for small loads, part loads and conveyors. Delivery times are estimated, these will depend on how long a lorry is tied up at previous sites or traffic. Hopkins Concrete
Hopkins Concrete Ltd is a family run business established over 30 years ago. With their head office based at Tythings Commercial Centre, in Wincanton they work across Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, west and north Hampshire and east Devon.
Hopkins Concrete supply BSI quality assured ready mixed concrete to trade and DIY. They offer prescribed or designed mixes which can be delivered or collected. All grades of sand gravel and aggregates, 1-30 ton loads are available as well as JCB and Excavator hire, tipper and mixer hire.
All concrete is produced using their state of the art concrete plant and supplied with their fleet of 16 truck mixers. Hopkins also offers an in-house technical department to advise and support the customer and conform to the latest BS8500-2:2002 and European BS EN206-1:2000.

Hopkins Concrete also offer concrete with structural fibres. This type of concrete removes the need for installing steel mesh so saves the customer both time and money.
