Which MVF feed block for sheep?

For value range - use Extra Energy, an excellent value feed block to maintain animals’ condition when there is limited forage availability. Can be used by professional farmers as part of a fully balanced ration.

For mid range - use Extra Energy & Protein Plus Fish Oil (MVF Professional Range), increased vitamin and energy levels combined with an effective protein source.  Useful to balance rations with high levels of long “stemi” forage (straw, round bale silage or hay) OR Hi-Mag Plus (MVF Professional Range), increased magnesium to help prevent grass tetany or staggers.   Reduced protein levels to balance rations based on fresh grass forage.

For professional range - use Super Energy Plus Fish Oil (MVF Professional Range), ultra high levels of energy and protein.  Perfect to help balance rations pre-lambing.  Contains omega 3 fish oils to improve foetal development.

Please note that intakes are intended as a guide only and vary according to factors such as available forages and size of animal. 

Always ensure adequate quantities of drinking water are available. Place blocks away from water supply, as intakes will be greater near water. 

Can be used to encourage livestock to graze poorer quality forages with correct field placement.

Super Energy Plus Fish Oil - MVF Professional Range 20kg

The ultimate high performance feed block. Super high energy and all natural protein combined with fish oils, Megalac protected energy, Sel-Plex and a premium vitamin, mineral and trace element package.  Feed pre and post lambing to multiple bearing ewes and during tupping. No urea added.

Hi-Mag Plus - MVF Professional Range 20kg

The high magnesium feed block of choice. Contains highly available magnesium to reduce the risk of grass tetany (staggers), combined with a premium vitamin, mineral and trace element package. Particularly suitable for livestock on poor quality forage. Only feed to ewes post lambing.
