Feed Storage

Bookmark and Share

As the cost of feed rises, it is important to take deliveries in the most efficient way. This is particularly so for the smaller quantities, which are delivered in bags, or blown into the corner of a shed, which then has to be hand-balled out to the stock. A smaller capacity silo could well be the answer; ensuring feed is kept in the best possible conditions and alleviating any storage problems. Savings made by taking feed deliveries in bulk can quickly repay the initial investment. Additional advantages include; no manual handling, or bag disposal problems, so the Collinson Tristor silo could be the low cost solution to every farmers prayers!

Tristor silos can be factory assembled for delivery by our vehicles, collected from the factory, or delivered in kit form for self assembly … saving even more money! Self assembly models are transported semi-assembled in the upright position, ready for offloading by fork lift truck. Small capacity silos, storing 4.7 or 7.5t of pellets are available for discharge into bags, a barrow or directly into your snacker saving time and labour.

Tristor comes in a galvanised steel finish as standard with the option to upgrade to a choice of 6 different colours of Plasteel.
