A feed additive providing the tool to optimise the liver’s natural resources to improve performance in high yielding dairy cows and aid improvements in health, welfare and fertility
Suitability
Dry and lactating cows (typically first 100 days)
What it does
- Increased milk yield
- Increased peak yield
- Better persistency
- Aiding improvements in health, welfare and fertility
How it works
- Reduces fat build up in the liver
- Improves liver function
- Increases the utilisation of fat from both the diet and adipose tissue
- Allows better detoxification
- Decreases the build up of urea
- Increases the supply of fat, glucose and protein to the mammary gland
Usage rate
Designed for feeding 21 days prior to calving continuing for the first 100 days of lactation
Target Intakes
50g per cow per day for at least 21 days pre-calving
100 grams for over conditioned cows (> BCS 3.5)
100g per cow per day for the first 100 days post calving
Reduce to 25-50g for the rest of lactation
Availability
Can be incorporated into minerals or used as a straight (Farm Pack)
Supplied as a 20kg Farm Pack for inclusion into the forage mix or home mix ration
