Designed to produce a dense, productive ley for intensive grazing from early spring to late autumn
-
The late heading of this ley allows for later cuts of high quality silage to be taken from early June onwards
-
Varieties have been selected for their yield, disease resistance and digestibility as well as palatability
-
Produces a dense, leafy, easily managed sward which will encourage maximum dry matter intake
-
The late perennial ryegrasses, Ideal and Tyrella, have been selected for their yield, digestibility and disease resistance
-
Chicory can be added to this ley at 0.25 - 0.5 kg, if required

A dual purpose ley for cutting and grazing systems.
-
In dry years it will produce palatable, high quality grazing in the summer.
-
For first cut silage of 75D value, cut around 8th - 10th May
-
Suitable for early spring grazing or silage cut that can be followed by grazing right through to late Autumn.
-
It will produce a dense sward that will help to reduce poaching.
-
Includes AberAvon and AberMagic for their high sugar, high grazing D value and excellent Crown Rust resistance.
-
Contains Timothy which gives the benefits of early growth and mid summer palatability.
-
Chicory can be added to this ley at 0.25 - 0.5 kg, if required

Diamond-Multi
Long Term, Cutting and Grazing
-
A highly versatile long term mixture designed to maximise production at the times of the year when grass is most valuable. It is a highly flexible mixture for both cutting and grazing.
-
Cut at first ear emergence in early May, the ley will produce grass of 73D plus, and when left for two weeks to bulk up, will still produce grass of 68D.
-
Has outstanding spring growth for early turnout and early spring lambing.
- Maintains excellent growth into late autumn, to maximise the grazing system
- Uses varieties selected for their high palatability and easy management, with a very low level of re-heading.
- Chicory can be added to this ley at 0.25 - 0.5 kg, if required

No Clover-Multi
Long Term, Cutting and Grazing
-
Designed to produce a dense productive ley without clover. Can be used for cutting or grazing.
-
First cut silage of 75D, cut around 10th - 12th May
-
The newly established ley can be sprayed at establishment with more effective and lower cost herbicides to control chickweed and seedling docks, before they get established in the sward.
-
100% ryegrass content will give the maximum response to Nitrogen applications. For either quick rotational grazing systems or to maximise silage production.
-
Clover can be added to the sward later after successful establishment if required.

Dryland
Long Term, Grazing
-
The mixture is extremely palatable with the blend of white clover. It is essential not to under graze as the cocksfoot will become fibrous and tough.
-
Cocksfoot produces long fibrous roots and along with Meadow fescue are drought tolerant.
-
Suitable for beef and sheep with a good dense ground cover.
-
Cocksfoot is early to start in the spring and is very rapid in its recovery after defoliation.
-
Herb mixtures can be added to the ley as they also are drought resistant, with deep roots and add minerals to the grazing animal.

Low Input Pasture
Long Term, Cutting and Grazing
-
A ley designed for beef and sheep farmers, who are looking to maximise production from lower inputs.
-
Proven mixture in low input trials (DARD2003-06).
-
Fescues and cocksfoot included because they are deep rooted and able to survive dry and wet conditions.
-
The mixture of species has been selected to offer opportunities for cutting and grazing.
-
Good mid-season growth is gained from the mixture of chosen grasses.
-
Barolex tall fescue, is a highly palatable variety, with forage that contains 15% more protein than perennial ryegrass.
-
This range of grasses will thrive with lower inputs of artificial Nitrogen, offer a sustainable farming solution and will last for many years.
