If you are now affected by the updated NVZ Directive, or whether you are looking to change your slurry storage, Mole Valley Plus are able to offer several solutions.
Above ground circular steel tanks are available in a wide range of diameters and heights to suit individual storage requirements. The tanks are manufactured from steel plates, with a fusion bonded epoxy coating. The steel tanks can be built with a starter ring which enables the tank to extended in height at a later date, should a greater storage capacity be required. Various ancillaries can be supplied with the tanks including valve assemblies, and jetters. If you would prefer a concrete store, prestressed concrete slurry panels can be supplied to form both external stores and cellars below slatted buildings.
Aeromixer systems can be installed into both steel and concrete stores to condition the slurry, ensuring it has uniform nutrient content throughout, with easy and efficient disposal. The Aeromixer has been scientifically proven to reduce the hydrogen sulphide emissions both from store slurry and slurry which is being pumped out of the store, greatly increasing the safety of both workers and livestock. In addition Aeromixed slurry has a reduced odour and is low in soluble nitrates.
For grain stores and silage clamps, prestressed concrete wall panels can be installed both vertically and horizontal to form the storage facilities. Vertical concrete panels are an effective way of constructing an open silage clamp or storage facilities within a building, whose columns are incapable of accepting the imposed loading from the silage. The panels can be designed to take double loadings and used as division walls. The horizontal concrete panels are simply clipped to the stanchions of the building. Both the vertical and horizontal panels are supplied in different lengths and heights, depending on your storage requirements.
In addition, precast concrete ‘L’ wall units can be simply bolted to an existing concrete floorslab to form division walls within your existing storage facilities. The ‘L’ wall units are available in heights from 1m to 3.75m.
