Lloyd Mortimer & other Hairless Trikers are raising money for Multiple Sclerosis

Lloyd Mortimore with Tony Beard

Mole Valley Farmers member, Lloyd Mortimore, organic beef farmer and winner of the big bale category of the 2012 "Profit from Forage" competition, is embarking on a sponsored  "Round Robin" trip on motor trike (Billy Connelly style).

Together with a couple of friends from the moor, Mike Nendick  and Bob Boswell, he is starting from Widecombe in the Moor on August 31st to "trike" to John O'Groats and then back to Lands End before returning to Widecombe to coincide with Widecombe Fair on the 10th September. Do keep an eye out for them and give them your support.

The aim is to raise as much money as possible for Multiple Sclerosis. Lloyd has a close relation and friends that suffer from this illness and I am sure we all know someone affected by this debilitating disease.

2013 is the 60th anniversary of the MS society and to help promote this Tony Beard "The Wag from Widecombe" has offered to be the face of the campaign for the South Devon MS branch, so it all fits in very nicely for these moorland boys.... well when I say boys!!

His companions have their own trikes but Lloyd is hiring his from www.motorcycles2hire.com (that little plug should get him a discount!) and if you feel you would like to support this wonderful cause please go to virginmoneygiving.com  and type "lloyd mortimore"  to find the fund raising page.
