Small Ads 

The Mole Valley Farmers newsletter, which is mailed monthly to all 22,000 of our Farmer Shareholders and Country Members, has a very popular Small Ads section.   If you would like to place an advertisement in the newsletter, you will need to pay £2.50 per line (which equates roughly to 35-40 characters).  The final cost will be calculated once the newsletter has been compiled and it will be charged to your Mole Valley Farmers Account once the newsletter has been published.  We reserve the right to shorten your advertisement if necessary.  To see a copy of the latest Small Ads publication (April 2012 No. 575) click here to view  (PDF, 151KB).

The Small Ads publication will be updated shortly after the 8th of each month.

You need to be a member of Mole Valley Farmers to place an advertisement.  If you’re not already a member, please see our Membership Options.  All membership plans have a range of additional benefits, which will enable you to make the most of the country's largest farming co-operative.

Take your small ad into your local Mole Valley Farmers branch.  The branch will forward this by post to Moorland House our Station Road Office (this method could take up to 3 working days)

To help make placing an ad as easy as possible, please have the following information ready before contacting us:

• your name and membership number
• your telephone number
• section you wish your small ad to appear in (the sections are: for sale, wanted, for hire, to let, at stud, services, events)
• the wording of your advertisement

The following dates apply to copy for the printed Mole Valley Farmers Newsletter.  Any Small Ads received after the deadline will be carried over the next month. 

• MAY ISSUE 576 Friday 13th April for publication Wednesday 2nd May 2012
• JUNE ISSUE 577 Monday 14th May for publication Monday 4th June 2012
• JULY ISSUE 578 Wednesday 13th June June for publication Tuesday 3rd July 2012
• AUGUST ISSUE 579 Thursday 12th July for publicaton Wednesday 1st August 2012

Altering Ads

Once you have submitted an advertisement, it cannot be changed or cancelled.  Please be very careful to check the details of your advertisement and only submit it once you are completely happy it. 

Date of Publication

Members who pay for inclusion in the printed newsletter have an advantage over those who opt for free inclusion on the website, because the newsletter is delivered direct to members homes at the beginning of each month.  Free publication on the website is delayed until the 7th of the month, so that paying members retain their advantage.

NOTICE TO ADVERTISERS

We would like to remind members that when advertisements are placed in our Small Ads section it is they who are liable in law not to mis-represent any offering for sale, under the Business Advertisement Disclosure Order. Whilst every care is taken by Mole Valley Farmers staff to ensure clarity of purpose, it is the responsibility of the advertiser not to infringe current legislation.

PLEASE NOTE

Mole Valley Farmers have more than 20,000 members; some of these are dealers and traders. If you wish to know whether advertisers are dealers or traders, please ask when making your enquiry.
