At Mole Valley Farmers we supply everything you and your chickens need.

Drinkers

Plastic or galvanised metal models available, in a range of sizes to suit different flocks. Most poultry drinkers are gravity-fed and some have anti-perch domed lids to prevent birds standing on them.

Feeders

Plastic or galvanised metal poultry feeders are available, many can be free-standing or hung from a hook. We stock a wide range of sizes and many models have anti-perch features.

Feed

As well as an excellent standard range of growers pellets, layers pellets, poultry corn, chick crumbs and layers mash, we stock a full range of organic chicken feeds and those designed especially for ex-battery hens. To aid digestion and strong egg shell production, we also recommend oyster shell grit – a natural source of calcium.

In the lead-up to Christmas, we stock turkey starter crumbs, turkey rearer pellets, growers pellets and finisher pellets.

Health

We’ve got your flock’s welfare covered! Everything you need for poultry health care from vitamin supplements to disinfectant and from antiseptic wipes to shoe covers can be found at Mole Valley Farmers. Why not try some Poultry Spice, a general tonic that increases egg supply and keeps the bird strong and healthy?

Pest Control

Products such as Red Mite Powder, Verm-X for Poultry, Flubenvet^® and more ensure that many internal and external parasites are taken care of. We have treatments for bedding, sanitisers, face masks for you, rat bait and fly control products to make sure your chicken house is spotlessly clean and perfectly healthy for your chickens.

Egg Production

We stock incubators, for those wishing to rear their own chicks, as well as other equipment you might find useful. Our candling lamp will help you to check whether a chick is growing successfully inside an egg and our infra-red heat lamps will keep your newborn’s warm. Incubators are available in a variety of sizes and some are even digitally-controlled.

In addition, we stock egg boxes (always useful), poultry rings for your chicken’s legs, scales to weigh your birds and tally counter’s – for those with large flocks.

Housing and Fencing

We highly recommend the use of electric fencing to keep your chickens safe and sound. We supply our own brand energisers as well as other top brands, as well as fencing, batteries, testers and everything you’ll need to complete your set-up. All models conform to European standards; many come with extended warranties and our branches offer repair and service facilities. Depending on the power output, many electric fences are also suitable for enclosing horses, cattle, sheep, pigs and other livestock.

To complete our poultry range, we have a great range of arks and chicken runs, plenty of fencing and timber if you would prefer to construct your own, wood preservatives and tools for the job.
